Welcome to Decembers Blog.
First of all where did 2023 go?
However as we end this year, take time to reflect on what you have achieved and what you have learned. It is also a time to look forward to the future and plan for it.
Instead of focusing on the negatives of this past year, focus on the positives. If you made mistakes, learn from them. If they weren't your mistakes, then let them go. How much time did you waste this year worrying and overthinking? That time would have been better spent on you.
This coming year, make it your resolution to take care of yourself first before anything else. It's important that we don't get caught up in other people's problems or try to solve everything for everyone around us when we should just be focused on ourselves first and foremost.
Things are rarely as bad as they seem.
The New Year is a great opportunity to look at what you want to change and how you want to improve your life. You can make those changes happen now.
2024 is just around the corner. Use this New Year as a launch pad for you. Imagine 2024 now as a new book with 366 blank pages. Yep, it's a leap year. Now what are you going to write? will it be an exciting adventure? Starting on a new journey and overcoming obstacles as you move forward. or will be a love story? Where you find that love for yourself and how that affects others around you. The opportunities are endless, you just must decide where you want it to go.

You can make 2024 your best year ever! You can achieve whatever goals and dreams you set out to accomplish in life! If there is one thing, I want people to take away from reading this blog is that they can do anything they set their mind to do in life! Don't let anyone tell you differently or hold back from achieving what it is that you want out of life because they don't think it's possible! You can do anything if you put your mind to it!
This New Year I want you to think about what you want your story to be. What do you want your life to look like? How would you like it to feel?
Now that we have all those questions out of the way, let's get down to business. Let's take a look at how we can turn this wishful thinking into something tangible. We are going to take the blank pages of our book and fill them with words!
We can start by looking at what 2023 looked like for us so far and where we want 2024 to go. We can also look at where we are now and reflect on how things have changed over time.
Here are some ways to make sure you make the most of this New Year:
Set your goals for 2024 and stick to them! Make sure these goals are realistic, but also challenging enough that you have something to work towards. Whether it's changing careers or just getting out more often, these goals will help keep you motivated throughout the year.
If your goal is about yourself, try visualising yourself achieving it; if it's about other people, then picture them realising how much better things are because of what you've done for them.
I've learned a lot about myself this year and discovered what makes me happy and what doesn't. And while that might seem like a good thing, it's also made me realise how much more work needs to be done. We are all a work in progress.
This is the last month of the year and you are probably thinking about what a crazy year it has been.
You have had some good days, some bad days and maybe even some really ugly days.
Take from this year all the good stuff, the things that made you smile, the things that made you feel good. and leave behind all the baggage. The upsets, the hurt, the tears, the anger. See 2024 as the next chapter, but this time you are not lending anyone your pen.

In 2024 you will put you first for a change. You can still be a people person but now with the understanding that you are people too.
In 2024 we will do more than just go through life with our heads down hoping nobody notices us or cares about us or stops to talk to us; we will make sure that when someone does stop we are ready to talk back and engage in conversation with them or at least acknowledge them in some way if we cannot engage in conversation right then because we understand that our time could be better spent elsewhere at any given moment so we should never waste it on people who just want something from us without giving anything back in return
2024 will soon be upon us and it’s time to make some resolutions. You know the type, eat less chocolate, drink less alcohol, stop swearing so much and exercise more. But hey, who has time for all that? Let’s be honest here. We all know these are just a load of crap that we will never actually follow through on. Here are some better ones!
Resolution 1: Stop comparing yourself to others.
The first thing to realise is that everyone has their own journey in life and that is not your journey. Everyone has different challenges to deal with and different choices to make along the way. It doesn’t matter whether they have more money than you or less money than you, whether they are younger than you or older than you, whether they have kids or don’t have kids…none of this matters. What matters is that we all have different stories to tell and each one of them is worth listening to because every story has value in it somewhere.
Resolution 2: Stop making excuses for yourself.
In this blog, I am going to give you some tips on how to make the most of your New Year's resolution.
Don't make it too vague
Be specific
Set realistic goals
Set short term goals that lead up to your long-term goal
Make sure that you have support from your friends and family
It’s easy to make excuses as too why we can’t do something or why something hasn’t happened yet but at some point, we need to stop doing this.
Time goes past so fast, and we need to make the most of every second of it. So in 2024 Don’t just do what you’ve always done. Live your life Believe in yourself and take a step out of your comfort zone so you don’t just exist you live.
YOU’VE GOT THIS.
Have a lovely Christmas and I wish you a very Happy, healthy and abundant New Year.
See you in 2024

Jon
